ES&S was commissioned to build a small table from a single piece of wood. We contacted the fine folks down at Bailey Wood Products to see if they could help us out. This beautiful piece of sapele hails from tropical regions of Africa and is found growing up to 15 stories tall and 3ft-5ft in diameter! This piece measures in at five quarter thick (That is 1.25″. For some reason wood people talk in quarters) so that I can mill it down to the final dimensions I need for the customer. Expect to see a finished image soon as we are pushing to get this completed for delivery next week.
