Keeping Busy With End Grain

end grain

There is always something to do in the wood shop to keep us busy. Between furniture orders, country crafts, commissioned pieces, restoration projects and just keeping the machines in working order it seems like there is never a down moment. However when the time comes that I am in the mood to build something but not start a whole new project I usually return to one of the first things I ever made; cutting boards. Simple but fun and incredibly useful they are one of the staple products we make to sell in quantity throughout the year. This one is on its way to becoming a beautiful end grain block ready to spend a lifetime in someones home. Will it be yours?
