We found an amazing vintage drill press at a local auction house this weekend. Walking around through endless aisles of less appealing merchandise had lowered my expectations of seeing anything fun. Then, out of nowhere, this glorious example of heavy steel engineering shows up. What a difference from the drill press we use in the shop now. I didn’t place a bid simply because I have nowhere to put it if I won. Although, now that I’m sitting at home looking at the pictures, I may have to run back down and put my hat in the ring.
