Sometimes getting a new tool is a lot like going to a toy store as a kid. There is excitement and anticipation and you can’t wait to get home and open it up and maybe, just maybe, you’ll stop and get ice cream on the way. Oh what a day!
We needed a specially sized drill bit for some upcoming projects. By “specially sized” I mean big. We needed a big drill bit. You don’t normally require larger bits like this in woodworking. Turns out that spending money on a new tool that is abnormally large compared to what you usually use is thoroughly satisfying.
What do you still buy that makes you feel like a kid in a candy store?
