It’s cold outside but these walnut slabs look warm in the setting sun. The grain pattern is going to be off the charts when these get coated with a fine satin clear as their project comes together. When we found this walnut they were part of a scrap pile next to a sawmill. This beautiful wood was going to be burned but now will find life in someone’s home for years to come. Don’t discount the idea that you might have something old laying around your property that could become a big part of your life if you give it a little TLC.
