January is a big month for renovation, rebuilding and repairs in the wood shop. Coming off of our busy season we take time to pull all of our machines apart and perform some much needed maintenance. During this time we also implement any upgrades to the shop that we’ve been holding off on. We decided to add a few machines onto our secondary dust collector but they were smaller than most of our equipment and we had a hard time finding gates that would mate to them and to our piping. Solution? Just build our own! These will meet up with the duct work and be able to be opened and closed as needed to keep things clean. When in doubt, build it yourself.
