Not every day in the wood shop is filled with successes. Until recently I have never seen a drill bit bend and twist around itself. I’ve broken countless numbers of them but never experienced one twirl around itself. I thought it might be important to share that fact. Not the weird drill bit situation but the fact that we experience failures too. We just generally try to hide them haha. Don’t be afraid to try a wood project and have it fail. When it doesn’t work just toss it in your scrap bin and start over. You didn’t fail to build your project you just discovered a new way not to do something and that will help LOTS of future projects. Every little…bit…helps.
