The recent stretch of springtime weather has me in the mood to make some homes for our feathered friends. This red oak prototype is stained in cherry and red mahogany. I used a cherry cabinet knob for the perch and the bottom is removable for easy cleaning. A few painted versions in country colors will be out soon as well and expect to see some different shapes and sizes.
