This large pepper grinder had been damaged after years of use. The sizable missing piece was partially replaced with a shaped section of hardwood to take up most of the space. Walnut putty was then applied and shaped to blend with the grinders shape. I sanded up through 320 grit to even it out. Some finishing putty, staining and a clear coat and this will be ready to go back to work for years to come.
