The Glue That Holds It All Together

TiteBondRegardless of what type of woodworking project I’m working on if it requires some form of adhesive then Titebond III Ultimate is the only thing worth using. It allows the cutting boards to be food save as well as waterproof and when it dries its like steel. Quite literally the wood itself will break before the bond with the glue does. The only thing that really causes it any trouble is if you submerge one of the boards in water enough that the fibers of the wood stretch and release which allows the glue to slide right out. It doesn’t get soft or dissolve, it just pulls out of the wood. So keep your cutting boards out of the dishwasher and they will last for decades! At $27.00 per gallon some might say its a little pricey but to us it’s worth its weight in gold.
