A few more bottle toppers being turned out for the Arts Barn Festival on September 25th of this year. Each of these exotics is unique in its own way which makes picking their design even more important. Some woods need all sorts of interesting shapes to make them feel like they are all they can be. Other however, like this bocote (second from left) have such an interesting grain structure and coloring that a simple rounded shape compliments it just fine.

Not that anyone is interested but Bocote comes from South America and aside from being pricey it is also extremely beautiful when finished properly. You can learn more about it here.
