I like to use exotic lumber in some of my projects from time to time to give them some flare, some pizzazz, a little something extra. I generally buy these expensive imported woods in very small amounts due to their high price tag. Today I came across this giant piece of blood wood at Bailey’s while picking up some walnut and cherry with my Dad. Measuring 15″ across, 2″ thick and 153″ long it is by far more blood wood in one piece than I’ve seen in my whole life. The cost? I didn’t even ask. I already have a mortgage.
