I made a prototype serving tray for carrying condiments and whatnot out to the picnic table that solves a problem I find annoying. I hate when you can’t have everything centered on the table. Then it has to sit to one side and be inconvenient. This red oak glue up base wrapped in walnut solves that issue. The center cutout allows for standard umbrellas to fit fine inside the steamed walnut bent center section. I don’t know that this will end up as something I build a lot of because of the time involved but if someone was interested I may do another.
