This set of cherry serving spoons and matching salt and pepper shakers were sold to a friend that is giving them as a wedding gift. I’d love to meet some of the recipients that have been given some of the things I’ve made some day and see what their thoughts are. Since the solid cherry of the shakers wouldn’t allow for an easy way to view the difference between salt and pepper I made two slight adjustments. The first is the number of holes in the top of the shaker. The second, is that the twin grooves cut into the sides are burned with copper wire on the pepper and left bare cherry on the salt. I think it turned out pretty nice.
